Ellie On The Move

I posted about a month ago about Ellie making progress towards being mobile. Since then, she has started pulling herself up on anything and everything:

Oh hey, Mom, let me just check out what you left up here on the coffee table for me.

Wasn't it just yesterday that I had to prop her up in the corner of the couch just to enable her to sit?

She has also taken a liking to standing on her hands and feet in a downward dog position:

Action shot!

But, most notably, the girl is actually moving. She's not crawling in the traditional sense (on her hands and knees), but instead is moving on her hands, one knee and one foot. It's sort of a weird scooting action, but it gets here where she wants to go.

And thus, our days of plopping her down somewhere and knowing we can turn away for a moment and she'll still be where we left her when we look back are over. Welcome to the world of childproofing!

Oh boy! Can't wait!! I will have to make sure she always has her hat on to take time out to eat since this will slow her down.

I love her crawl, that is so cute!! V is pulling up on everything but still hates to be in the crawling position so she avoids it. haha.
