The Downside of Being Two Months Old

Two months of age means it's time for two-month shots, a/k/a the saddest five minutes there ever was.

Ellie woke up as happy as could be this morning, only adding to her mother's guilt. She stayed very content all through the first part of her doctor visit.

She totally trusted me. That was her biggest mistake.

First there was the oral vaccine. She was not a fan. Little did she know, that was the least of her worries.

She thought she was in the clear...

...but then all hell broke loose and they started sticking her with sharp things.

She got one shot in each leg. The second one was no easier than the first.

My poor, poor baby.

It's tough to be two months old.

At least she got two new rockin' Wile E. Coyote Band-Aids out of the deal?

It is sad when they are little and don't know what's going on. But its quick and they forget. Quinn's 4 year old shots were torture and he still talks about them, 3 months later.
