Please keep praying

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers for Toni over the last week. We are so appreciative of your love and concern.

I thought I should post a brief update for you all. I'm writing this from Florida. I got in yesterday to join Eric, who arrived on Wednesday. Toni is still in the ICU. She suffered a massive stroke (as the doctors seem to be fond of telling us repeatedly), which was accompanied by a number of other complicating factors. She was sedated for some time but since ceasing the sedation on Thursday, she has yet to regain consciousness. At this point we are just watching, waiting and praying for her to wake up. It is a very serious situation that will only worsen if things continue on as they are.

But, we are not giving up hope. We have each other and the whole family crowds into Toni's room daily. If love can bring her back, we're doing all we can.
